Those being:
• Burn candles away from drafts or gusts of wind.
• Burn candles on a stable surface with no vibrations, such as loud music.
• Trim the wick to 1⁄4” length before lighting.
Where are your candles made?
Each of our candles is lovingly handcrafted by our team of artisans at our Atlanta, GA studio.
How many times is each taper candle dipped?
Each pair is dipped a minimum of 25 times to achieve their elegant shape and a diameter of approximately 0.75 inches.
What diameter are the taper candles?
Our taper candles are a standard 0.75 inches in diameter and are designed to fit most standard candle holders. The naturally rounded shape of our dipped candles also allows them to fit slightly smaller holders with ease.
If a candle does not stand upright in your holder, hold the candle base to a flame and let a couple drops of beeswax fall into the holder, then hold the candle firmly in the holder upright until wax dries.
Are any fragrances added to your candles?
There are no fragrance added to any of our pillar or taper beeswax candles. When burned, beeswax emits a natural smell of warm honey and wildflowers.
However, our potted candles do contain essential oils, and each one is clearly listed in the product description.
Why beeswax?
Beeswax leads as the cleanest burning wax available!
It not only produces less soot than any other wax, but it also purifies the air as it burns by emitting negative ions. These negative ions attach themselves to dust and debris in the air and pulls them down to the ground out of our breathing air.
By purchasing beeswax, you are also supporting the beekeepers that help colonize and support the reproduction of bees.
What is eco-conscious coloring?
Our eco-coloring contains no Prop 65 ingredients and meets all REACH regulation.
Why cotton wick?
Cotton is the cleanest burning wick material. Mo&Co uses cotton wicks made by one of the oldest family-owned wicking companies in America (est: 1817)
What is beeswax bloom?
Bloom only appears on 100% beeswax and is your assurance of ingredient purity. This dust-like crystallization may naturally develop on your beeswax candles over time.
To remove bloom, simply wipe the candle with a soft cloth or gently warm it with a hair dryer to restore its natural finish.
